We specialise in applying the next generation of breathable, insulating render systems manufactured by ProofShield. When you have your home rendered (render is just another name for external plastering), that render system has 2 functions: your walls from the weather and it provides a decorative finish., but they also provide a significant amount of thermal insulation.
Applied to the internal face of external walls, ProofTherm insulating plaster reduces heat transfer through solid walls, reducing heating bills in winter and keeping the temperature down on hot summer days. This highly breathable solution also allows damp walls to dry out and can play an important part in dealing with damp and mould issues on internal walls.
A warmer wall surface is a drier wall surface. By raising the temperature of your walls, our insulating systems also eliminate the cold spots where condensation forms — permanently removing the conditions in which mould grows, as a direct result of improved thermal performance.

Our Proofshield-trained team applies ThermoSilicone or ProofTherm to manufacturer specification — the same timescale and process as a conventional render or plaster job. Every install is under the supervision of the manufacturer.
